Paul Flude is an Attorney and a Practising Member of the Cape Law Society, South Africa, but works with the firm’s solicitors here in the UK. Paul has amassed over 18 years of experience in the legal, fiduciary, insurance and financial services industries in South Africa, the Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Switzerland and the UK.
Paul relocated to the UK after a period in the Isle of Man, whilst still maintaining his business connections and ties to his native South Africa. He has extensive experience in the drafting of:
- Estate and Estate Duty (Inheritance Tax) planning;
- International & off-shore Trusts;
- Personal and Business planning for Entrepreneurs;
- Deceased Estate Administration (Probate); and
- The formation of international corporate entities.
As an entrepreneur in his own right, he assists people to relocate and to migrate their business interests to the UK whilst at the firm his team handle all the legal work.
At ACLF he oversees our Life Planning department, which handles Private Client work such as Wills, Trusts, Probate, Powers of Attorney, Relocation advice and other related matters including off-shore structure referrals and incorporation of any new business projects in the UK.
Paul is our client liaison manager for this department and will act as your agent if you are relocating from abroad or have just arrived in the UK. The legal work is undertaken by our solicitors, whilst Paul oversees the client management, international requirements and smooth connection to any third parties, so from start to finish you have one senior point of contact to guide you through the whole process.
He works closely with our commercial lawyers, immigration associates and other lawyers so that we can ensure everything ,you require ,is covered by our team.
He is a Member of the International Bar Association, a Member of the Institute of Directors, Worldwide Who’s Who and is a South African Revenue Service Registered Tax Practitioner.
Paul is married with two children, is a qualified rugby referee and is passionate about rugby, history and singing.
